Who we are

Kotinda is a meal delivery service in Pointe-Noire, published by Sebastien Dai, entrepreneur individuel (Pointe-Noire, République du Congo). For any question about your data: sebastien@sdmanagement.fr.

The data we use

• Your account: name, email, password (stored only in encrypted form, unless the account was opened with Apple or Google), and phone number, verified once at sign-up with a code sent via WhatsApp.
• Sign in with Apple or Google: the identifier Apple or Google sends us, your name and your email (with Apple, a relay address if you choose). We never receive any Apple or Google password.
• Your orders: dishes, amounts, chosen payment method (cash or Mobile Money; we receive no card numbers), delivery addresses and instructions.
• Your location:
  • customer: only while the app is open, to suggest nearby restaurants and set the delivery address;
  • courier: only while on duty, including when the screen is locked, to offer nearby delivery jobs and let the customer track their delivery. It stops being sent as soon as you go offline;
  • restaurant: to place the restaurant on the map.
• Calls made in the app between customer, courier and restaurant: the microphone is used only during the call; nothing is recorded.
• Notifications: a technical identifier for your phone, to keep you updated on an order's progress.

Who sees it

• The restaurant and the courier for an order see the name, number and delivery address needed to prepare it and bring it to you.
• The customer sees the courier's first name and location during the delivery.
• Our technical service providers, solely to run the service: WhatsApp (Meta) to send the verification code to your number, Apple and Google if you sign in with them, Google Maps (address search and routes), Apple and Expo (notifications), and our server host.

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. There is no ad tracking in the apps.

How long

Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. Order amounts are retained for the period required by accounting obligations, without your name, number or address once the account is deleted.

Your rights and deleting your account

You can view and correct your information in the app (Account). To delete your account: Account › Delete my account, then confirm with your password (for accounts opened with Apple or Google: by typing SUPPRIMER (delete)). If you signed in with Apple, Kotinda's access to your Apple ID is revoked at the same time. Deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also write to us at sebastien@sdmanagement.fr.
